Who We Help

At Norfolk Clubhouse, our mission is to support individuals facing mental health challenges by providing a safe and welcoming community where everyone can thrive. We understand that mental health struggles come in many forms, and we are here to help adults living in Norfolk who are dealing with challenges such as:

Depression

Depression can make even the simplest tasks feel insurmountable. At Norfolk Clubhouse, we offer a supportive environment where individuals experiencing depression can find understanding and encouragement. Our social support groups and wellbeing activities provide a space to connect with others who share similar experiences, reducing isolation and fostering a sense of belonging.

Anxiety

Living with anxiety can be overwhelming and isolating. We provide a range of services to help clubhouse members manage their anxiety, including coaching to build confidence, resilience and coping strategies, and meet-ups that allow those struggling with anxiety to share and learn from others in a supportive setting.

PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress)

PTSD can have a profound impact on someone's life. Norfolk Clubhouse offers a compassionate community where individuals can begin to heal. Our structured activities and weekly sessions help members work through their experiences with the support of qualified coach mentors, enabling them to regain a sense of control.

Grief

Grief is a deeply personal and often challenging journey. We provide a nurturing environment where individuals can express their feelings and find solace among peers who understand. Our Norwich and Watton groups offer a space to share stories and receive comfort during difficult times.

Loneliness

Loneliness can affect mental health just as severely as medical conditions and other life challenges. Norfolk Clubhouse is a place to connect with others and build meaningful relationships, to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation. Our social activities and support groups help individuals break the cycle of loneliness, fostering a sense of community.

At Norfolk Clubhouse, we believe in the power of community and the strength that comes from supporting each other. If you’d like to support Norfolk Clubhouse in our work, take a look at our DIY fundraising ideas or head over to the donation page - or to our JustGiving page - to make a donation.
